SiciliaContemporanea for everyone!

Visiting Ortigia, and taking part in SiciliaContemporanea workshop, is an opportunity to improve your Italian, use writing skills, and bring thoughts, ideas and impressions into being. Do you have that urge to write about your experience as you delve into a new place? A photographer would just get out his camera, right? Sleepy Ortigia, is beautiful, abandoned and overrun with tourists, but there are hideaways, cool spots in which to take refuge. You will be guided into reflecting on the select themes and writers and your impressions of the place.
So why forego discovering Sicily through a cultural engaging experience. Lorenzo Perrona was born in Genova, and holds a PhD from the University of Lausanne in Contemporary Italian literature. He lives in the countryside near the Vendicari wetlands, south of Siracusa.

Workshops are in Italian, but any writing in English will be overviewed by a native English speaker.

See you there!
